COOKIES NOTICE

1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?

A cookie is a small text file, typically of letters and numbers (with an ID tag), which may be placed on your computer or mobile device when you access our Platforms. Cookies are created when your browser loads a particular website. The website sends information to the browser which then creates a text file. Every time you go back to the same website, the browser retrieves and sends this file to the website's server. Find out more about the use of cookies on www.allaboutcookies.org

You may access and change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking here.

2. WHAT COOKIES WE USE AND WHY, & HOW THEY IMPACT YOU

A. Required cookies: these cookies are required to enable core functionality. Without these cookies, services you have asked for, like adding items to your shopping basket, cannot be provided. If you disable these cookies certain parts of the Platforms will not function for you, for example, adding items to your basket, proceeding to checkout.

B. Analytics cookies: these cookies help us improve or optimise the experience we provide. They allow us to measure how visitors interact with our Platforms and we use this information to improve the user experience and performance of our Platforms.
These cookies are used to collect technical information such as the last visited Platform, the number of pages visited, whether or not email communications are opened, which parts of our website or email communication are clicked on and the length of time between clicks.

C. Functional cookies: We may use cookies that are not essential but enable various helpful features on our websites.
For example, these cookies collect information about your interaction with services provided on our Platforms, and may be used on our Platforms to remember your preferences (such as your language preference), your interests and the presentation of the website (such as the font size). We will ask for your consent to use these cookies when you request the relevant service.

D. Advertising cookies: we use these cookies to collect information about your browsing habits in order to make advertising more relevant to you and your interests. They are also used to limit the number of times you see an advert as well as help measure the effectiveness of an advertising campaign. We may share this information with other parties who help manage online advertising – please see the "Third Parties" section (2.3) below for more details.

3. THIRD PARTY COOKIES

Your use of our Platforms may result in some cookies being stored that are not controlled by us. This may occur when the part of the Platform you are visiting makes use of a third party analytics or marketing automation/management tool or includes content displayed from a third party website. You should review the privacy and cookie policies of these services to find out how these third parties use cookies and whether your cookie data will be transferred to a third country. If this site is listed as the Service Provider, then it is a first-party cookie set by our system and the collected information is delivered only to us. If a third party is listed as the Service Provider, then it is a third-party cookie.

4. LIST OF COOKIES ON OUR PLATFORMS

When you visit our Platforms, we request your consent for the non-necessary cookies to be placed on your device. We use first- and third-party Cookies. First-party Cookies come from our platform and send information only to us; third-party Cookies are placed on our website by third parties and send information about your device to other companies to analyse how you are using our website. We use session Cookies, which are only stored for individual online sessions and are deleted when you close your browser; and persistent Cookies, which are deleted when they reach their expiry date or are deleted by the user. The table below explains the cookies we use, their purpose and duration.

5. SOCIAL MEDIA BUTTONS

On many of the pages of our website you will see ‘social media buttons’. These allow you to share or bookmark pages on our site.

Social media sites such as Twitter, Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn may collect information about your internet activity. If you visit our Platforms, the specific pages you visit may be recorded if you are logged into their services, even if you don’t click on the button. Where this happens, we may be Joint Controllers with the social media site over the data transmitted to them from our website. However, they will be a separate Controller for any subsequent use of your data. You can exercise your rights in relation to jointly controlled data against either us or the social media partner.

For their subsequent use, you should check the privacy and cookies policies of each of these sites to see how exactly they use your information and to find out how to opt out, or delete, such information.

Facebook cookies

Google cookies

LinkedIn cookies

Facebook Pixel
Our websites also use the Facebook Pixel provided by Facebook Inc. (“Facebook”). We use the Facebook Pixel to track user behaviour, which enables us to send you relevant, targeted advertising on Facebook. It’s a tracking pixel that collects information about you, which is used to build and optimize target audiences for Facebook ads. For example, it collects and sends data, which is connected to an identifier such as your name or IP-address, to Facebook regarding that you have visited our site and what you clicked on. The pixel sends this data to Facebook where it’s matched with your user profile if you have one. So, when we create an ad on Facebook, we can ask Facebook to target the ad to people having visited our site and then it might pop up in your feed. We do not collect or store any Personal Data about you through the Pixel, but Facebook does. If you would like to opt out of this data processing, you can use the settings and opt out options provided by Facebook under https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/edit

LinkedIn Tag
The LinkedIn Insight Tag is a piece of code that we have added to our websites to enable in-depth campaign reporting and to help us unlock valuable insights about our website visitors. We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to track conversions, retarget website visitors, and unlock additional insights about members interacting with our LinkedIn adverts.

The LinkedIn Insight Tag enables the collection of metadata such as IP address information, timestamp, and events such as page views. All data is encrypted. The LinkedIn browser cookie is stored in a visitor's browser until they delete the cookie, or the cookie expires (there’s a rolling six-month expiration from the last time the visitor’s browser loaded the Insight Tag).

You can opt out of cookies from LinkedIn on your LinkedIn settings page and recommend you read their LinkedIn cookies for more information.

Google Analytics
Our Platforms also use Google Analytics, which is a web analytics service provided by the third party provider Google, Ireland Limited (“Google”). Google Analytics is used for the purpose of evaluating your use of our website, compiling reports on website activity and other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is usually transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. The data transmission takes place on the basis of standard contractual clauses as appropriate guarantees for the protection of personal data. These are available at https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks and https://business.safety.google/adsprocessorterms/

IP anonymization is activated on this website. This means that your IP address will automatically be shortened after it is collected so it can no longer be connected to you.

Cookies or comparable technologies are used with your consent on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Your personal data will be processed with your consent on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time without affecting the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent up to the revocation. 6. MANUALLY MANAGING COOKIES

There are a number of ways you can manually manage cookies on your computer/device. Please note that if you choose to disable cookies in your browser, you may be unable to complete certain activities on our websites or to correctly access certain parts of it. If you would like more information about interest-based advertising, including how to opt-out of these cookies, please visit https://youronlinechoices.eu/

7. DO NOT TRACK

If you wish to block all cookies all the time you can set your browser to do this. It is important to note that blocking cookies may result in some parts of our site not working properly. This may affect your browsing experience.

Our Platforms respect a DNT:1 signal as a valid browser setting communicating your preference.

8. HOW CAN YOU MANAGE YOUR COOKIES PREFERENCES?

When you visit our website, you are asked to fully or partially accept or decline that cookies will be placed on your devices. However, it is not possible to decline cookies that are strictly necessary to provide the functionality of the website. In case you have consented to the use of other cookies, you can always withdraw your consent by changing your preferences.

If you do not consent to cookies, they will be disabled on your behalf. You are also free to disable cookies at any time through your browser’s settings, (for more information on how to do this please see the “how to delete cookies” tab at www.allaboutcookies.org/cookies).

If you choose to disable cookies, please be aware that some parts of our Platforms may not work properly and it is likely that your Platform usage won’t be counted and measured as described above, so we won’t be able to take your actions into account when analysing data or when seeking to improve our service based on that analysis.
